Les Contamines-Montjoie

At the foot of Mont Blanc, you will discover a village like no other, a different station with a huge area to see life differently ...

The village is dominated by several peaks:

To the east: this is the area of high mountains: the Dômes de Miage (3 673 m) et l'Aiguille de Bionnassay (4 052 m) located in the Mont-Blanc massif are made of ice all year.

To the west: the winter sports resort extends on the sides of the Mont Joly (2 525 m) and can reach the ski area Hauteluce by the Col du Joly. The top of the tracks located at l'Aiguille croche offers wide views of the Mont Blanc and the Aravis valley Beaufortain.

South: the Roman road takes you to the Col du Bonhomme and taken to Italy. She is also the starting point of the famous Tour du Mont Blanc.

Numerous walks are accessible to all from the village: Jovet lakes, the Tip, Tré la Tête, Mont Joly, Colombaz and many more.
